What do you hate most about Duke Nukem?

The thing I most hate about Duke Nukem is the music <.< I really love the maintheme but the rest is not really special and gets annoying really fast.

music, aside grabbag its kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥, it was compossed by someone who didn't really know about music and had to learn and build it on the fly though.

actually I disagree. the classic version of the game had the music composed by both Lee Jackson and Bobby Prince, two of the most well-known artists in the gaming industry back then, especially the latter working on games for both Apogee/3DRealms and IdSoftware.

I'm seconding on that, but it's more of an eternal september post-VentriloHarrassment generation that are grating and find the game as some retro hipster obsession for masculinity to the point they absolutely must have a full leveled badge and achievements unlocked by unorthodox means as they find the long irrelevant Duke Nukem as a role model. Much like DNF was, I now see Duke Nukem as the poster boy of "too little too late" and don't care for the character, so much that I have Duke Talk turned off when I play now.

Yes, I realized what I just typed is hipster in itself. I should mention other 90's FPS games suffer similar issues to varying degrees - especially Blood. Doom hit the crapper post-Brutal also, pretty much defacing the lasting image of the game with some pretentious CoD fantasy orchestrated by some psychopathic bigot.

Duke3D is a fine game, though some younguns take the "older games best games" rose-tinted pretention act a bit too seriously. The last time I thought this was the best game was in 1996 and that was only for a few months.

Duke Nukem 3D suffers "Hell March syndrome" in that the main theme is considered as 'best music in gaming this game has the best songs ever the guys a genius' with the rest of the score being some moody filler no one ever talks about. Not quite on the same level of Uematsu, The Fat Man, and Follin...

%25 of the Duke Nukem 3D music was great, but most of them sucked. The most thing I hate is the Duke Nukem Forevers music. And just Duke Nukem Forever in general.
