PNG screenshots?!
I just realized that the map I just built and uploaded to the workshop weights 2.2mb... I managed to get it to 300kb by downsampling the screenshot.

It's pretty stupid forcing people to use 2mb screenshots for a 50kb map AND forcing subscribers to download the PNG and store it as well. The additional screenshots you can add to the workshop can be uploaded in JPG format... Would it be possible to allow JPG shots in the cmdtool?

It can help if you use nearest filtering, aka the "Retro" texture smoothing. PNG is ideal for that, but is horrible for filtered scenes. Sadly, using PNG for such a scene is like viewing a BMP on the internet.... it's just not cut out for that.

You don't have to include a 1920x1080p.png image with the workshop item, I always resize down to something much smaller than that since the users will most likely be interested in the additional screenshots I upload on the workshop item page.

Yes, i did that when I discovered my package weighted 2mb... But other people wont realize that, hence we will have 50kb maps with 2mb screenshots.
