Do you think developer support is dead?
I'm not sure what the company is up to, they might be developing a new game or something. But do you think that development has been abandoned either because the game no longer produces profit and no longer worth the investment or they went on to better projects to produce more revenue?

I'm not criticizing the company nor development team if any of these are the case, I'm just wondering on the future of the game and it's cousin game shadow warrior or if there is a future at all.

Any one else wonder the same?

They are working on a project at the moment but have expressed interest in coming back to this in the future.

The project they are working on is Duke Nukem 3D Megaton Edition's port with Abstracton Games for the PS Vita/PS3. It was just submitted to Sony for certification. =3

Holy hell, I didn't realize this was happening! And I just bought the Borderlands 2 Vita bundle. Now I'm going to be religiously checking the PSN store every tuesday (update day) for the foreseeable future.
i just played through the game and to be honest i dont know what they could add to this game. Everything worked flawless on my end. Workshop is intigrated already and multiplayer works as it should.

I'm currently addicted to Toukiden and Soul Sacrifice Delta (Monster Hunter clones), but I do agree. Personally, I'd like to see further classics spanning the genres. Having some classic Might & Magic (III to V Clouds+Darkside), Eye of the Beholder volumes, Tyrian and Raptor: Call of the Shadows, all installed next to Duke 3D, on a system that IS a gamepad? I'd never be bored on the road again

If the Plug 'n Pray revamp continues as it is, it would be nice to see it officially packaged. But I'm the cynic that is fully expecting (though in no way wishing) the past to repeat and the project to get C&D'd.

Multiplayer could use tweeking and reworking, as it stands it works pretty much as well or even quite a bit better than the original duke. That's my opinon though it just could use some extra features or refined net code to make it as smooth as possible.

Can we get MIDI support back, please? It's very important for mod support because some mods, particularly my favorite, Lost Duke, have entirely custom music for every level and it is a real shame not to be able to hear it. The guy who made the mod did the music for his college thesis or something and it turned out pretty great.

Also, the menu should be reading episode names from the 'user.con' instead of an XML file. This could be triggered whenever the game is launched using -x or -g parameters.

In case anyone asks, I want to play mods in Megaton Edition for the multiplayer/co-op. The Lost Duke Episodes do have co-op enabled.

Also, I'm still pretty disappointed that some guy worked on map fixes for Duke Caribbean Beach and those map fixes were not put in to the official release. Just as predicted, I get locked in a temple room of Lost Lagoon, my friend who is new to the game ends up dying and then we couldn't beat the level. It's so disappointing that we don't even skip it, we just quit.

Uh... they were put in the official release. Check that you have the latest update and verify your cache. Your addons folders should have loose .map files in each folder corresponding to each addon.
