[Solved]Steam and GoG Version Multiplayer

I wanted to play Duke Nukem 3D with my friend. He bought in on steam but i want to buy it at Good old Games because it´s cheaper. Can I still play with him somehow or do I have to buy it on steam?

Steam version is a modern source port with multiplayer intergrated, where as GOG is just the DOS version.

If you want, you can use YANG or something with the dos version, but for simplicity, I suggest Steam version so you can invite through Steam, and not have to worry with any third party programs.

and i don't think good old games version comes with expansions and the steam version will have the updated graphics and simpilicity of mods ect..

GOG is not Megaton Edition, it's the earlier Atomic Edition.
And Atomic can be played by picking "Classic" when launching Megaton anyway.

but the gog version has RINGTONE'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! a zip file of duke nukem voice's u can use on you're nokia!
