Duke 3d The Gate

I just found out about this expansion/add-on. http://dukenukem.wikia.com/wiki/The_Gate
I’m always late to the party. I haven’t played it yet, Im going to give it a run tonight. Is it a real expansion or just an assortment of user made levels?

Where do you get it? Is it free? Does it work on megaton edition?

I downloaded it from that site. Just google duke 3d the gate and it will come up.

I unzipped the files in the eduke folder. The only problem I'm having is that the predator aliens dont work. They are just stationary. What am I doing wrong? I'm hopeless with eduke and mods. I can never get them to work.

You have to make a batch file which loads the CON override provided with the mod (-n for CON and -g for GRP IIRC), else the Predator will just be a sprite

I saw on YouTube two Single-Player maps called Shaky Grounds: Apocollapse https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhXgvZfjyvs and Shaky Grounds: Tragedy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lBSnuW9W3qk and I would like to know if there is any way to add these two maps to DN: Megaton Edition

You really could have made your own thread instead of bumping a thread with unrelated content.

Those maps have EDuke32 specific features and will not work in Megaton. Download EDuke32.
