Not Supporting 2 Xbox Controllers - So Weird
This game is awesome. I've just gotten to the part where the big brother has to carry a torch to keep the wolves away and all that. Really like it. It would however not have killed the developers to add support for 2 controllers... It's practically made for it! At the moment a friend of mine and I are able to play together by using the keyboard and 1 controller, so it's not like it's locked to singeplayer anyway.

There is no reason not to add that support, and it should be possible do it in a future patch.

But yeah, great game anyways.

There's a reason for it. You'll find out soon enough.

My God you got me intrigued. We'll see then.

It's supposed to be single player, not multiplayer. That's sorta the point.

My Lord that is not a valid argument. You can still play singeplayer even if they were to add support for 2 controllers. They wouldn't have to add any actual gameplay content. But whatever I'll get back here and apologize and stuff if this thing that is supposed to come soon blows my mind away lol.

This game is so good. Love it. Still don't agree with you guys but whatever. Might as well give my credit card details to Josef Fares and Starbreeze Studios so they can just take my money whenever they complete another game.

I dont understand why so many people want to play it in co-op, it completely defeats the purpose.. The whole point of the game is to play it single-player. You will know what we are talking about when you get to the end.

That's what my last comment was about. Already completed it with a friend. One had a keyboard and one had a controller. Great game, great ending, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ decision to not allow two controllers. Sorry, just don't agree.

I understand if you don't agree, but the simple fact i if that is what you want, then you shouldn't because it's not going to happen and it never will.
The game was advertised as a SINGLE PLAYER co-op game, and the awkwardness of controlling two people at once was supposed to be a gameplay mechanic. I have no idea how you managed to enjoy it without actually playing half of it.

I get that it's supposed to be a single player experience, but it really couldn't hurt to add support for a second controller. (The internet was created for use by the government and military, and here we all are enjoying it in ways it wasn't originally intended for.) Sometimes things are just better than they originally were meant to be. Instead of just being an awesome single player experience, it could also be known as "the most cooperative game in history". It means what you want it to mean. Seems silly to me not to open the market up a little more by allowing 2 players. There are plenty of people out there looking for a fun co-op game. Meh... it is what it is I guess. We can't all be creative directors of other people's projects.

The game uses one stick and one button for each brother and honestly I can't see how anyone could get any fun out of it in co-op and that's why it's never going to be "the most cooperative game in history." You are basically just standing still half of the time if you control only one and "puzzles" will be even easier than they are now. (From very easy --> Just plain laughable) Also socializing during this game can only distract you from all the wonderful details put into it. It's single player and everyone should play it as such.

@Harski
Does it matter how people want to play the game. obviously these people are enjoying the game world together all the wonderful details, the experience of being emersed in the game etc. Live and let live I say, Also I can see their point of view.

Of course I'm not forcing anyone to do anything. Just giving my recommendations for readers who haven't played it and might be confused about the idea and mechanics of this game.

You have played through the game now and you seriously don't understand why it wasn't co-op? It's one of the biggest messages in the whole game and pretty much the whole point of it as a concept.

In the start of the game i also thought it would have been awesome to play it as 2 player coop, but after a while I realised the game would have to be remade almost from the ground up , othervise it would become far to easy...This game was not only great it was exellent , and it trained my brain in doing 2 things at once like no other game has...
