For crappy, non-XInput gamepads, you can use the x360ce, which makes any dual analog gamepad emulate a 360 controller: http://code.google.com/p/x360ce/
The Hama gamepad doesn't have analog triggers though, so I'm not sure you'll be able to get it to work even with the emulator since it doesn't have input parity.
pretty much this...
People with wireless 360 pads, or cheap brands are always having problems on windows PC.
just buy a wired 360 pad or something similar.
So, I guess that means I'm one of the rare few whose wireless 360 controller works then? Just played some Brothers last night and I was able to control them perfectly. Same for a bunch of other games where a controller is also recommended.
Yup, worth it. Made the switch years ago after also only owning a non-360 pad. Haven't looked back.
Follow up on Sweetz's post if you insist on using the Hama. I, too, have heard that the x360ce works well.
X360ce doesn't work.

I had already tried with current version of x360ce without getting it to work, but this version worked flawlessly!
So plz, don't complain ;)
