Hit a point where i can't progress.

So I have hit a point in this game that I think maybe a bug, but am throughly confused. During the part where the brothers are connected by a rope, there is one point where the little brother has to swing up to a peg that is higher than the one the older brother is on. I simply cannot get the little brother up high enough to grab the peg, its the most frustrating thing in the world, he just cant get high enough to grab it so I am stuck and cannot progress. What am I doing wrong? I have sat and tried to get past this for almost an hour.

I was stuck at that exact part for a while as well. Took me a day to get past it.

Two things, you have to actually press up on the swing as well to get higher, and if that's not doing it then it's probably the keyboard controls. For some reason, I could only do it after I swapped the controls for both brothers in the launcher. Some conflict with using the arrows on my keyboard I'm guessing wouldn't let me swing higher until I used WASD for the little brother.

I am stuck in the same place, have you gotten past it? Holding the trigger up sadly doesn't work. I tried to do the chapter again, but now i'm stuck with the two ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ goats. The older brother jumps over the first gap and instantly jumps back. I think I'm done with this game. Two gamebreaking bugs are two much for me. Sad.

How do you change the controls? I cant find this in settings?

This is how I solved this, playing windows version with xbox controller: I used keyboard to control little brothers movement. Using arrow keys I kept UP pressed while swinging back and forth with LEFT and RIGHT. This (finally!) sent me swinging high enough. I used the controller to quickly grab the "impossible peg" and get on with the game. Basically same solution as suggested by Faustyle but no need to change controls. Thanks Faustyle!

I was stuck at the same point. And all I did was to change the game resolution down to 1280x720 and all of a sudden he could reach it easily. Very weird .. and annoying to have such kind bugs in an otherwise great game.

Thanks! Changing the resolution helps for me, too! It didn't work with 1920x1200, but I also have low fps at this resolution.

Recently had this same issue... I changed the res BUT then shortly after ( when you go back outside) tried to grab ledge and they started flying ( and ended up dying). Great game. bad bug. dont mind working around it.

changing the resolution helped me, too.
I even bought the recommended controller for steam.

I have a bug in the part where I have to free the giant..when the little brother pass the jail to get the key the interactive button doenst work... I tried to change resolutions and keyboard but still nothing...someone have the same problem?

I had no problem stealing the key. Maybe you are not close enough to the ork? Or try walking against the cell door and press the action key.
