I would also be interested in this.. The ending made my daughter pretty upset though =\

You may want to try "lily looking through", this is one we really enjoyed although its very short.

The LEGO games are always fun.

I agree about the LEGO comment, I used to play them with my son, they look a little childish and some kids don't like that but even at 30 years old I am mildly entertained (more than some newer games) .. mostly because they follow movies and are somewhat silly.

yep they should make a cheaper LEGO bundle sometimes..

Ico and Journey spring to mind.

Maybe the new Tales of monkey Island, funny dialog and stuff, its a point and click if you dont know it.

Trine 1 and 2, definitely. Also interesting could be both portal games. Check out games like thomas was alone, mousecraft, snapshot, these are nice indie games i own by myself and like them :-)
About mousecraft, the best deal is to buy it from website of the game so you will get drm-free version, desura and steam and you can pay for the game any amount of money.

which elements of this game would you think mostly made it work so well for you? the art? the story? the wordless dialogue? the puzzle-solving gameplay? the slow pace and mostly absense of loss conditions? or the collaborative nature of playing together (assuming you both controlled one character)?
or something else? like the exploration of a fantasy world?

might wanna check out Botanicula. similarly stylish, wordless puzzle game with cute characters that i like as an adult and would have liked as a kid, but wouldn't have liked as an teenager (well, maybe secretly). not as much of a story, and in 2D, but cool anyway.

Bastion and Child of Light if you like the art style

If you have a ps2/ps3 this game really feels like Ico/Shadow of the Colossus mixed with Journey (as others have already pointed out). All three great games that I think everyone should play, too bad none are on pc.

unless you use a PS emulator and controller, and pirated versions of the game. which is mandatory because The Last of Us.

Thank you all for your answers. To: Deadpan Serious: I mostly like Brothers for its emotional story which is talked without words. My son like it because he can imagine me like his brother, second character of this tale. Collaboration is also very important for having fun together. Unfortunately story become more serious during the game and it is no longer suitable for so young kids....but we had to continue, because we both were very deeply trapped.
