No image in Grid View, just for this game. Anyone else have this?

I view my /Steam Library in Grid View normally, as I like seeing all the pictures representing my games. For the past few days though, this one game has lost its grid image; replaced just with a greay rectangle with the small shortcut icon in the centre.

There was a recent bug where this happened to a lot of Steam games, but it got fixed in an update. Now it's just this one game. I've tried running the game, opting into the beta, and even deleting and reinstalling the game, but no effect.

I was jut wonbdering if anyone else was getting this, or if it's just me? Any solutions?

Uff, this is probably some Steam cache file issue (wild guess).

Tried to google some but I can only find what you mentioned when this was a problem for a lot of people with all games.

Oh yeah, I didn't think about the Steam cache thing. I know there's a way to reset it as I've done it before. It involved typing an address into a web browser... Can anyone reind me how to do this?

Alright, I fixed it! I looked up an old conversation I had with Steam support where they had suggested I refresh my configuration files for Steam (that's what I was thinking of in my last post). I did that by typing the appropriate command into my web browser and now the grid image is back!

I noticed yesterday that I have a missing grid icon for this game but despite deleting the AppCache folder so Steam would recreate it is still not showing in Grid View. How do I fix this please? I have 450+ games in my library and this is the only one that is not showing...

What is the magical command to fix this issue then? Might have been useful if you'd actually mentioned it here! Thanks.

I tried adding a Custom Image but it still did not work. However, when I went into the Big Picture Mode, I noticed there was an option to Remove Custom Image (it was still not showing here either), which I did and now the icon does show in that mode. When I switch back to the Grid View though the game image is still missing. :(

Was the command: steam://flushconfig

I tried it, relogged into Steam but the icon is STILL missing.

Yes, I did the "steam://flushconfig" in my Internet browser and that fixed it. Don't know why it's not working for you.
