I want to play with my XBOX 360 Controller, help

Unfortunately I never play with controllers so can't be of much help here. Though I'm sure that you can find a solution to your problem by going through the already existing threads.

It should work with a xbox360 controller, I'm at least sure of that.

I have the same issue but it appears as if the developers don't want to fix such an important issue.

My CSL gamepad doesn't get recognized either. But I found a way around using Xpadder:

It simulates keyboard strokes when you use the gamepad. Xpadder doesn't look very nice and also costs another 7€. But at least it works now :D

I went and looked up the xbox 360 controller drivers and loaded them. It worked for me after that. I'm using Windows 8.1.

Worked fine with my Xbox360 controller here. Make sure it works in other games and if you have other Joysticks/Controllers in the system, try disconnecting those.

Strange.. it should just plug and play if it's an official MIcrosoft pad. It surely has to be a driver issue

I had to disable some devices in device manager to get mine to work. It was detecting the controller but not recognising any input - couldn't navigate menus or anything.

I disabled a few devices under Human Interface Devices and it started working just fine.
