Any news on when will we be able to purchase it via Steam?
Or rather, anywhere... When I click on the ingame link to purchase it, I'm sent to the steam store page for Truth & Beauty (which I already have).

That's a very good question. It's been out for awhile... I had already been waiting weeks for it so I just went and bought it about 2 weeks ago from the devs. Since it's so close to Xmas it's suffice to say it's not coming out this year. And considering this War Z debacle...

Yes, it just gives you a key that you plug in.

Is there something wrong with the activation server? I'm 100% positive I'm entering the key correctly and it rotates between "server does not respond" and "code is not valid for requested operation". Would love to know, thanks!

Saw this DLC pop up on new releases, hadn't noticed this game before- was tempted to buy before I took a look at exactly what's being marketed as DLC here.

Visual appearance in Windows 7, selecting cards with arrow keys, reconnecting to online matches- all features that should be available as free bugfixes, not selling points for an expansion pack. Disappointed, will not be spending any money until these are included in the main game.

For 2 previous expansions people complained about "new version destroyed my saved games/replay files!" And that was really an issue, I felt upset! So this time we didn't update base game executable and put everything into the expansion DLC. So, as a side effect, it got some extra "selling points". Anyway, what's wrong here? They're not bugfixes, so I see no reasons why they must be free. However, if you want these features for free - why not just download the game from the official site?

Because when a game's DLC costs more than the game itself, and three of the six headline features are things that players expect (whether it's out of a false sense of entitlement, as I suspect you may think, or not) to be put into games as free patches, what are us impulse buyers supposed to think? Without posting about it here, I wouldn't even have thought to check for an official site from which to purchase, and without doing further research, whether it would be compatible with Steam.

I apologise for the tone of my previous post, but do you not think that this can't be an isolated opinion? It's actually nice to see that the choice was made out of consideration for owners of the game, but by the same token, it pretty much alienated me at a glance.

I purchased the Gathering of Power expansion and yet the game hasn't changed. I have a product key loaded in through Steam, yet when I load the game, nothing is different from the Truth and Beauty expansion. No new characters, etc. Can someone suggest how to get the GOP expansion to work?

I agree, but I think it's better to list these features rather than don't list them. Because they're quite important for some players - system-based upscaling in Vista/7 is really horrible and makes people not to play fullscreen at all!
