Originally played this on the PS, so decided to try this one out on the PC. Essentially the same great game if you previously played the PS version. There are a few small cons with the PC Steam version, but they are nothing too big.
*Missing background music. The original sounds are there such as gunfire, enemies, ambient, but it is missing the short musical background scores that would usually play during certain moments that would signal danger or caution that would keep you alert and ready for battle. While nothing to fuss over, it is a bummer.
*Resolution. This one is hardly anything to get upset over since this game was never meant to be played in HD or widescreen resolution, so it does take a bit of messing around with the game settings to find the perfect resolution and to make the game fit onto the screen. (Even after setting it to my native 1080p resolution, the right side of my monitor would be black). So you have to find what eventually will work for you.
Despite this, the PROS are that this is a fantastic game (which for its time) has great level design, challenging puzzles, good story, a power-hungry protagonist, and will keep you immersed till the end. Also, I'd say the PC version is much easier since you can save whenever you like vs the PS version where you needed to find save crystals.
If you are a Tomb Raider fan, you will definitely love the original if for some reason you have never played it, but played any other installment of the series.
