Multiple problems
Megadev and Granom great game however there are some problems

1 TDL's animated backround causes severe lag on even the best of computers and some people are not willing to turn on low detail. (I am not one of them) Can it be optimized better?(Not fixed yet)

2 Chaos mode has glitches with projectiles such as throwing stars only having one ammo.
Can it be fixed? (Was fixed!)

3 game freezes often on TDL due to glitches. (like it freezed when I got the duck powerup)

If you could take time to read this that would be great! (I am not whining I am just reporting problems)

Also can it be possible to reduce the kamikaze magic ammo to 1 because it refills when I die.
(Was fixed!)

If you do these things this game shall be perfect and not just great!

Thanks! The TDL background is quite processor intensive as the game is having to draw several large rotated, transparent bitmaps. There's nothing that can really be done to optimise that apart from drawing a more static background - we might need to rethink it! Can you explain the Chaos Mode / throwing star glitch? Sounds like something I should be able to fix. The same goes for the rubber duck glitch - what happened there? Just fixed the "ammo" cap for the kamikaze magic, so that'll appear in the next update. :)

Thanks (sorry for not being able to respond quickly I wake up late) the ammo glitch is that the throwing star ammo is capped at one in chaos mode sometimes due to the game thinking it is a boomerang or hookshot.

The rubber duck glitch is that when death showed up I found a rubber duck powerup that somehow freezed the game.(It only happend in TDL)

One more problem I found is that the OAN is called a female by everything in the game.

(sorry if misspelling stuff.... I just woke up!)

I just played a custom level on normal and it put me on hard mode! If this is intended
please remove the user dungeon icon from normal mode.(Not fixed yet)

It also won't let me play custom levels.It says something about a timeout error.

Thanks for the info - that's helped me fix both of those bugs! The foe randomiser and rubber duck pickups are pretty troublesome, so I've made a few changes that will hopefully fix them once and for all. If they're still causing problems though we might just have to remove them altogether and replace them with new items - it's extremely difficult to test all of the permutations and if they're still causing the game to break then it's probably best if they're removed. I'll update the game shortly though and we'll see what happens - it seems pretty stable and the grim reaper issue is at least fixed.

I have a medium spec PC and not encountered any FPS problems what so ever yet.

TDL is TransDimensional Leakege It's animated backround lags on SO MANY computers including 1000 dollar ones like mine.

oh okay thats strange, not had any issues there, i'll post my specs anyway as it might be helpful for finding out the problem.

AMD FX 6100 series six core CPU
8gb RAM
Nvidia GeForce GT 640 GPU (2gb DDR3)

I have problems with FPS on a lot of indie games such as bastion and zeno clash 2 but usually big titles work well as long as they are a year old or so. Do the people you know who get framerate have similar specs to you? I do hope we can get it fixed so we can perhaps have a graphics option just for that as I do think the swirly background is really nice. :P

Well sorry there is no way to fix the problem for others except to make a option.

the funny thing is that it has okay fps on some good computers but not on others.
(it's like the game chooses what computer to work well on)
I have 2 computers an old beatup one and a good one. It has the same fps on both!

Found one more problem the mouse cursor in the editor does not show up unless I click something first.
I am in fullscreen. (Was fixed!)

Is the OAN being called a girl going to be changed?

If it is not then the OAN just feels like a skin instead of a different character.

I think I fixed the speech, but there's probably a few bits of text which refer to the player as a girl - are there any in particular that stick out?
