I unlocked it a few minutes ago but when i click ingame to download it the game asks me where to save it but after i chose a location there is no file named "shodn_ost" - am i doing something wrong?

that's what i did and it worked

yeah, i figured out why it didn't work.
When you click the button and give it a location to save the soundtrack it creates a temporary file and you have to stay ingame until the soundtrack is downloaded and the zip-file created - if you quit the game earlier then the temporary file will get deleted.

Confirmed. Leave it open till its done. If you ALT-TAB out, you can see the temporary file grow in Windows explorer till it's done.

Anyone having problems grabbing the OST in-game can download an updated version from our site which features the TDL track too:

Just FYI, i use the Gothic track in my iPhone as an alarm!! Sometimes i wait until the 0:25 part to turn it off ^^

Bad idea. People usually end up hating tracks that wake them up. Speaking from personal experience. :)

Also, excellent soundtrack indeed. Indie games tend to have great soundtracks, just look at Super Meat Boy.
