Map Editor problems
I tried to create a really big level. I tested every room in in the map and it worked fine.
In the final test from the top to the bottom i encountered many bugs.
Many Spikes and chests just disappeared. Monsters were in other rooms or they just randomly changed.
The chest room is not working correctly the second time. I can pick up all the chests even with a proper chest room entrance and exit.
And the editor should use the game controls, i like to navigate the camera with the WSAD keys. :-)

After so many hours in the editor this is a little frustrating.
I hope for a fix for this great game.

Hi Cybergore,

Sorry to hear of your problems! If you've designed a map which has an unusual layout, such as making players go down several floors and then back up again, the engine will most probably struggle as it was written (and optimised) with heading downwards in mind. I did add some code at the last minute to allow maps which have players heading upwards to be designed, but there are still limitations to the engine an it sounds like you might be hitting them. I'd be interested in seeing your level though, or just a sketch of the layout.

I was finally able to fix all problems in my level. It was really time-consuming.
But now it looks presentable :-)
Hope you like it.
