I own RO2 (not installed) bought RS. Only see BETA option-apparently its not what I should be installing/playing. WTF? Do I install RO2 and run RS from that? What do I do? devs: LAME for making this confusing.

That's the only thing you need to download and install. Ignore the betas.

That "Rising Storm/Red Orchestra 2 Multiplayer" that you already had - that's the game. Hence the "game 1 (slash) game 2". The difference now, is that you can level up your character on RS maps.

Rising Storm has no campaign, you should have gotten Red Orchestra 2 instead if you are looking for single player. If you see 0 servers you are probably running the beta as posted above. Uninstall "Rising Storm Beta", and play the game in your library called "Rising Storm/Red Orchestra 2 Multiplayer".

Yes, you can play on RS maps (remember there is NO single player campaign for RS). However, you can only play rifleman class, and can't level up. What you get by buying Rising Storm is the ability to choose other classes than rifleman and level up your character when a server has a RS map loaded.

Bought this one on the steam sale and it was very misleading. I too, was also confused about this very scenerio you are going through.However, the multiplayer is amazing but has a very, very steep learning curve. I highley enjoyed my few hours online playing even if i died like a ♥♥♥♥♥ every moment.

I dont see an option to install RO2 Multiplayer. The core game has an icon in my lib, the Beta has an icon with no image. Ill install Ro2 core, RS must compile in that, I guess.

There's onlye ONE, count it, ONE game client, and that's listed in your games list as "Rising Storm/Red Orchestra 2 Multiplayer".

If you still don't have any idea which game that is you need to install, then click this link:

There, look for the green bar that says "you already own this game" and has a big "play" button. Click that button, and it will prompt you to download the appropriate game, or launch it if it is already installed.

I think my library didnt update properly, this was easy to fix a day ago when i finally had the correct game in my library (this is days after i purchased it)
