Graphic glitches on Mac version
I just wrote to the email address listed on the Fez steam page but I can't play the game on OS X, I have a NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 512 MB and this is a Mac Pro 2 x 3.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon

The game loads but the UI has all sorts of graphic glitches, the fonts look like boxes and the game can't be played.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having the same problem with a MacBook Pro 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7 with an Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB.

Graphics glitches include some fonts appearing as weird box-like shapes, room contents and backgrounds appearing outside of the room walls, certain objects (including a treasure chest) unable to be opened because they exist outside of the level frame, certain room contents not appearing, regardless of which direction the camera is facing. The first 30 minutes of the game seem cool, but I think I won't be able to make much progress without the graphics working.

I have the same problem, everything is really messed up. The inside of houses are completely black, characters are stuck in walls or walking in the air, graphics are in weird places, textures look awkward, etc.

Although, I'm pretty sure the weird box-like fonts are intended, and is actually part of the game, not a glitch. Either way, the game gets pretty much unplayable after the first area because of missing or misplaced textures and other graphics.

Edit: I'm using a Macbook Air, also with Intel HD Graphics 3000 with 384 MB of VRAM.

The HD 3000 bug seems to be unique to that hardware, I'm looking at it over here:

I _think_ the but that the OP found has been fixed, but if not, let me know.

Will let you guys know when I figure it out for HD 3000 hardware. May post debug binaries along the way.

I'm also having issues on my Macbook Air. When I enter an interior location, the wooden 'frame' is visible and Gomez's movement is limited to it, but the interior detail & background are either invisible or offset downward. Despite objects appearing to be below the frame, Gomez is able to jump on top of invisible ledges and walk on them.

Outdoors in the village, some folk have taken to walking on invisible ledges. I'm not quite sure whether there's supposed to be a visible ledge there or not.

My mid 2011 11 inch model has an Intel HD Graphics 3000 288 MB and 1.6 GHz Intel Core i5. Feel free to PM if you want further stats. Happy to produce a screenshot if needed.
