Can I redeem the Collector's/Ultimate Edition digital bonuses even though I bought the base game on Steam?

I know this might sound like a stupid question, so let me just preface it by saying that I know you can't activate a retail copy of Defiance on Steam. That's not what I mean. I bought the regularass Standard Edition on Steam after enjoying the trial (despite loathing the beta for numerous technical reasons).

What I would like to know is, if I pick up one of the heavily-discounted physical collector editions of the game, would it be possible for me to activate the digital bonus features (like the Ultimate Edition's season pass) despite having the game on Steam?

Are there codes in the package that I just plug into the Apply Code page at https://rift.trionworlds.com/commerce/voucher/redeem-voucher-flow and then everything'll be in my account the next time I log into the game? I realize that I won't have the season pass on Steam, but the access to the pass will be tied to my Trion account, so I'll get all of the content, at least when they eventually release it... right?

Yes, you should get a code with the collectors edition.

If it's a box retail version they normally come on a slip of paper or on the back of the manual you get.. I've even seen product keys printed on the physical disc thrmselves.

Don't throw it away after adding it though, just incase you have any problems and need it at a later date. Also, don't share it with anyone.

Once you add the new product key to your existing Defiance account, you shuold be good.
