Deleted Character

Hi all
I played yesterday and everything was fine. I logged in this morning and a patch started to download. After patch was downloaded and got to character screen it started asking me to create a character and there was no sign of the character I had created yesterday.

Can anyone please help with this problem.

You are not alone in this, I have seen a few people saying this happened to them on the official forums, might wanna check there see if they got any resolution.

I haven't had this issue in Defiance but I did have this happen to me in Rift. It turned out to be a simple error though I have no idea how it changed to this day. On the laucnher is a setting menu where you can change your region from EU/US and vice versa. In Rift I was changed from the EU to US and as I didn't have any character on those servers it looked like mine had been deleted but after changing it back to the EU and restarting the game they were all still there.

Now I am not saying this is what is happening in Defiance, as I said its not happened to me so I can't comment but its worth checking out to make sure you are still logging into the right region your character was created in, whether that be the EU or US

I have now sorted this after reading a post on the official forum. It is as you said Balraw, to do with the region. Thought I had created my character on EU but it turns out it was the USA server. But never mind recreated on EU server. I am really enjoying the game.

Lucky you Deldorge.. Not so lucky myself first character 7 hours down the drain since I know 100% that i choose the eu server and not the North american one that was the first thing at start. Lucky I started the game up to use the ingame purchase full game function and noticed that my char had been moved. Not a chance I will buy this now.
