Really Trion?

So for those players who payed for the game before it went free to play, I have a question are you guys also ♥♥♥♥ed off? I payed 60 dollars plus 40 for the season pass and all the dlc's they made were some pretty bad crap.
Trion did try to give us some stuff but that stuff is also crap. So the players that bought the game only get xp boosts, more inventory and character slots, and some other crap.
Welp I'm pretty ♥♥♥♥ed anyone else?
(This excludes the people that are getting it for free)

It's a mixed bunch - some people feel the same as you, however both in-game and on the official Defiance forums it seems as though a lot of people don't mind. Me personally, as long as the game's still running I'm happy - mostly because too many games and not enough time to go through them all, so if anything happened to the game I'd just move to the next.

I just got through playing and everytime I bought DLC for this game ( I have three of them) I expected to get unique weapons or gear and all I got was the same garbage I always get. I just bought a tier 4 lock box and it had two pistols in it and a rocker and 5 frag grenades spent all the credits I had accumulated except 500 of them and that is the big payoff. Where are the Volge weapons or anything unique , this is the best lock box you can buy? DAMN!!! I have played this stupid game since the beta and I stay away for a week or two and then I see an add for new content and return and it is always the same old thing spending 20 minutes running in a circle with a bunch of other yahoos shooting hellbugs that keep bubbling up from the simulated ground like a bunch of Orkin men!!

I'm confused that you would even ask this question, or that you even seem to have this attitude about it. Sure you paid $60 for it like many of us did. But do you remember when it dropped to $30 and it didn't bother you? Or how it didn't bother you when it dropped to $10? And how even being on sale for $5 several times wasn't a big deal to you? I would have expected you to complain about one of those price drops, especially given that it went to $10 less than four months after release. Where was your outrage over it dropping $50? Is it only the last $10 that bothers you?

Now I understand - you really don't know much about the game, despite playing it since the beta. Why you went out of the way to make another post to display your ignorance is beyond me.

For those who don't know: The Wolfhound (a pistol) was the #1 weapon in the game for a long time, and is still one of the top three. It's still considered a requirement among anyone who is serious about killing the Warmaster.

The way I see it, the game actually has players now. They could of compensated the paid players better, but nopelol says the Trion. At least people are making use of the game now as opposed to it feeling like a single player experience.

Comparing to other MMOs, it's a bit more fair to free players, but "compensation" could be a bit better (But full account + some Arkforge + 30 days "premium", which gives only 20% boost to all rates, is good enough compensation for those who bought the game for $5)
I hope that Trion will make payment system in ArcheAge like this one. It's fair, it's not forcing people to pay for some crucial features (except DLCs of course), it's not making paid players more OP than free players.

You paid $60 and got the game to play for many hours. You paid and got the game for all that time prior to F2P release. Sorry you are spoiled.
