Kids love Ace of Spades and Guncraft.. Anything else similiar available?
My kids love playing Ace of Spades and Guncraft. They're the only FPS games that I let them play because of the kid friendly graphics.
Are there any other games similar to these that they might like and I might let them play?

If you're going to reply saying that even these games are too violent for kids, please don't bother commenting. We get it, you're an awesome parent. Save us all some time and keep it to yourself. I'm just looking for an FPS that isn't too bloody that I can let my kids play.

Thanks guys!

I think Blockstorm it's a great option:

I didn't played it yet (gonna buy when the Summer Sale arrives), but from what I've watched, it's pretty solid, even in its early access stage. Also, you can customize 100% your character and create your own maps.

The game is being published by Indie Gala. Almost everyday they stream a match in their website (http://www.indiegala.com - 10 AM PDT), so I think you could watch before decide to buy.

these games are too violent to play, also who cares about the graphics, it's about the gameplay, i mean look at the first wolfeinstein game it may not have the best graphics (im not trying to judge) but yet its banned in so many countries, and look at DOOM and DUKE NUKEM 3D those arent the best graphics at the time but are still really fun and enjoyable if you're mature enough

Thanks Rafael M. - I'll check out Blockstorm.

your best options are minecraft, blockland, or your decent roblox

I second Blockstorm. Its a good game. Ace of Spades and Blockstorm are the two best fps building games in my opinion. Personally I think Blockland is one of the worst games I've ever played, but its possible a young kid might be able to find something good about it. Its got a lot of go-kart racing servers, and a few fps ones, but its just plain bad.

If it doesn't have to be a fps game, and just a blocky game with similar graphics, I'd suggest Block Story, CastleMiner Z, and possibly Vox (Vox wasn't great when I tried it, but it was during early access, so I imagine its had a lot of updates since then).

You should try Blockstorm because that game may actually have a future and is probably more pretty for your kids to enjoy. Not to mention teabagging isn't part of the game.

If you actually want an FPS game that isn't violent you could just let them play Team Fortress 2 in low violence mode which is basically the same as letting them play any other gimped shooter.

If you do consider TF2 in low violence mode here's how to enable it.

I think Ace of Spades, Blockstorm, and guncraft might be the only fps games like this one that don't have any gore/blood. Most fps games have blood/gore in them. (also Minecraft is good too)

Then again, blockstorm has like pixels of blood when you shoot someone though....

Also, blockstorm has little to no filtering on user generated content, so there's no guarantee everyone will be using kid-friendly characters and weapons.

Thanks for the advice guys. I picked up Blockstorm and my son loves it! I was surprised how much you can customize. He built his own player right away and next we're going to figure out how to make his own playable map.

Great suggestions!
