New Opt-in Branch! Gnomoria Isn't Dead!
Some of you might have noticed a slowing down of updates. This is because Robobob has decided to do an opt-in type deal for updates. There will be less frequent updates, but the onles that do come out will be much more stable and Robo won't feel as rushed to push out smaller updates every two weeks. This will let him work on what he thinks the game needs most right now.

If you want to join in on the testing of new builds before they're released, read this thread:

Here's the board where you can see discussions on the current in dev build:

Even if you're not opting in, you can keep an eye on how its going from there.

Thank you for explaining this to me, unlike most people I don't go to gnomoria to check out why there aren't constant updates, this explains alot and helps me saving time of making a pointless post on the forums here

The website has another update, can't wait to get it, fixes the crashes. Steam needs to hurry up!

Oh god,,, PLEASE
tell me you havn't started doing what starbound and chucklefish... sorry chucklef**k have started

god i hope gnomoria hasn't started with a "nightlie updates, and not updating stable" kinda thing
it was perfectly fine as it was in my opinion

also, im a little confused on the "updates every 2 weeks", as i dont think i've seen any update postings come up in the downloads from gnomoria for a while
last update in my game was V0.9.14, which if im right was 6 Aug

,,but as i said, gnomoria was doing perfectly fine with monthly updates
(or least it seemed to have been a monthly update kinda thing)

The current build is taking longer because there are some persistent bus kicking robos butt. It's still being worked on actively, and whilethe previous method worked, now robobob can focus on exactly what he thinks the game needs now and won't feel threatened by a weekly schedule. He is able to take as much time as he needs to ensure everything works the way its supposed to.

good to see there is no plan in the worlds to follow suit with starbounds load of crap =/...

hopefully you guys/girls can keep working on the way you feel is the best

im pretty sure the fans would allow robo as much time as he needs,
after all a games better when its not being pushed for a release by fans or pushy publishers

taking a page out of chucklefish's book
weekly updates / nightlie updates

this is just my guess,
but with updates being added into a game everyday, your adding more content into a game without fixing any bugs and allowing more bugs to appear that could in turn make the bugs that are already there all the more worse =/

but anyways, back on topic,
thanks for the heads up arryu =)

No problem! Also, robo posted in his indev forum about the recent update, why its taking a while, and why it is focusing on stockpiles. I would cppy/paste it here for you but my tablet doesnt like that for some reason, so here is the link to the page.

I just wish RoboBob would post something on the game's own website every once in a while so everyone knows he's alive.

In case Arryu takes a sick day here's the indev forum:

Is he still updateing or is he taking some sick days?

Or is he working on a big update?
Hobi Apr 18, 2015 @ 5:21am
Two month since last update, is this game still alive? Hope you can still released it some day.
Arryu Apr 18, 2015 @ 9:21am
There was an update two days ago to the indev branch, it added mod support.

Hopefully, although a lot of people have gotten many CTD's this RC. If anyone reads this, Robobo is cvalling for crash logs and savegames. I'll make a thread where you can psots them and I'll pass 'em on.
