Noob questions...
I'll say off the bat, these are probably obvious, but I just want to be sure.

1, do pickaxes/felling axes made out of better metals do the same job faster? or is there a hidden durability thing I've not noticed yet.

2, I checked the wiki, and is 25 the upper limit on the number of gnomes you can get?

3, How do I get craved stone walls? I can't see the option in any of the workshops, do I need to unlock it?

Community help, as always is appreciated!

1.) As far as I can tell as of right now the type of metal a tool is made out of does not effect the tool.

2.) I have heard of people having 90 in there games, but I cannot confirm this myself.

3.) Try looking in the Build > Terrian > Wall menu, most likely it is made out of stone blocks. The color of the wall will be the same as the stone block it is made out of.

Hope this helps, have fun playing.

1) summers got it. They dont have an effect yet for mining.

2. There isnt a real technical limit, but there is a realistic one. After 30 gnomes are painfully difficult to get and each 1 will require a crazy increase in kingdom worth
Example: syphins 12 year kingdom from our kingdomsharing post has 47 gnomes, but his kingdom worth is 1.4 million. Where as my current 2 year one had a kingdom worth of 130k and has 30.

3. Summers got it again. You just need a stone block of the desired stone, the builder will shape the wall to the desired type when placed.

1. The metal used in tools matters if they are used in combat. If your miner has to fight off enemies, he will do a lot more damage with a steel pickaxe than with copper. But it has no effect on mining or woodcutting tasks.

2. I've had 90 gnomes at about 11 years with 12 mil KW in one of my kingdoms before, that's my personal record. There probably is no limit, it's just a steep exponential curve.
