Seems like the dev is done with it.
It's okay.
But there is plenty of modding content.
and modders still adding stuff.
Community keeps it alive.

But by that reasoning every release title is abandoned because there is always more content you can add and always more polish to be done.
I would love to see the bugs fixed, magic & priests including healing & resurection, other gnome skills and perhaps an end boss on the last floor that is not "fun" but fun.
