dead...well....kinda. sadly.
Seems like the dev is done with it.
It's okay.
But there is plenty of modding content.
and modders still adding stuff.

Abandoned before it was finished, if you havn't bought it, don't bother. Otherwise look for mods to add in the missing content.

Yeah it's dead. Which is too bad. I love the concept of this game. I've alawys wanted a more graphics heavy Dwarf Fortress but meh, what can you do.

Seems lot of games going this route... Nvr finishing what start. Or releaseing it too early and claiming done. Just hope some one makes new version and actually finishes it.

Has some bugs that'll utterly wreck your late-game, too. Can't fix core code problems with XML mods. Wish robobob would just open source the thing so it could be polished.

Hope some one makes a new version of this soon. I loved the game but even mods cant fix a lot of the problems it has. Hope guy sells the code and new devs continue developement. As i dont think it sells much anymore he wont lose much income if any.

Game is dead to new development. All but officially. Reply to a tweet (ugh, I feel dirty using that word) asking "Why did you abandon Gnomoria?":

If by that you mean they didn't finish everything on the "would be nice if we could" list? Then yea...

But by that reasoning every release title is abandoned because there is always more content you can add and always more polish to be done.

There was a few bugs and other things should of worked on before quit. But otherwise game is complete. If vanila had been more stable mods could of done rest. They do a lot but there is limits.

I would really like to see this picked up again. or sold to another dev team. It's the only decent dwarf fortress there is out there. What a shame.

I would love to see the bugs fixed, magic & priests including healing & resurection, other gnome skills and perhaps an end boss on the last floor that is not "fun" but fun.
