Pretty much. However, we haven't ruled it out, either - it's something we'll look at after release.

That's great to hear!
I think you should add your plans/hopes for additional OSs & platforms to the FAQ.
Yes, the game is playable with Wine, nice and smooth (no control lags, no graphical glitches, no sound shuttering/mistiming), although with somewhat lower framerate, than in native Windows on the same hardware.
My rig:
Ubuntu 13.04 (Raring) 64bit
Wine 1.6
Nvidia GTX 660 (driver ver. 331.20 from PPA).
- It would be better to configure Wine to emulate virtual desktop with game resolution, check the "Automatically capture the mouse in full-screen windows", also in regedit create key HKCU/Software/Wine/DirectInput/ , under "DirectInput" add string parameter "MouseWarpOverride" with value "force". All of this may prevent some screen and controls issues.
- Нou may gain some extra FPS, running game in a separate X server ("xinit -- :1" console command), switching shortcuts is Ctrl-Alt-F7 and Ctrl-Alt-F8.
That's it. Maybe this info will be useful for someone (despite i'm not very experienced in Linux). I hope, that Linux port will appear someday. I really love this game.
Dungeon Defenders, Painkiller and probably some other games were not stopped by UE3 to get here... i still believe! :)
I have just added this game to my wish list, waiting for that sexy penguin.
agreed! it looks to be a beautiful and smart game! can't wait to see it on Linux! it'll be a definite buy! :D
