Multi-monitor / Nvidia Surround / Amd Eyefinity / 21:9
Hi,

Well another Unreal engine game and yet another console port. I'll keep this brief - the game scales Vert- and doesn't include any FOV options in game to rectify that - so after editing the ContrastEngine.ini (Located in Mydocs\mygames\contrast\Contrastgame\config\..)

Locate:

[Engine.LocalPlayer]
AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainXFOV

Change to

[Engine.LocalPlayer]
AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV

That makes the game pretty playable, not perfect, but playable. The menu's and prompts are either on the left or right hand monitor - but it doesn't seem to game effected to try and change. The in game cut-scenes are centred which is nice.

I tried to do the old bindings=fov 120 etc in the input file, but it doesn't seem to work - the only reason I wanted to do this, is because I've changed the aspect ratio to scale to Y instead of X, it can give a little fish-eyed effect, and in places the camera can get a little crazy zooming in and out (camera padding).

Enjoy

I don't hold hope for these console ports to be fixed by devs - and I doubt they would even look at this thread. BUT on the off chance someone does (and I like this game despite reviews) please can you implement proper support, cheers.

Thanks so much for this tip, I was disappointed when I first played this to find that it scaled up vertically. This was a perfect solution!

It's really frustrating that developers don't cater for the Eyefinity / NVidia Surround users. It wouldn't take that much effort to support these games properly so that menus and other UI/HUD elements still fit on one screen. Even games that proclaim to support triple monitors rarely do so satisfactorily.

Dude head to {LINK REMOVED}www.flawlesswidescreen.org and download that utility if you haven't already. Hayden has fixed the game, including the menu's/prompts. You'll have to undo the fix I posted if you use it.

Thanks, I already had that but stupidly didn't have it running! All fixed using that now, it's an amazing utility.
