Hey Erik - probably the best way to do this is to right click on Contrast in your library -> Properties -> "Set launch options..." in the bottom left, and then add the -skipgpucheck without quotes. Give that a go, then let us know if you have other issues :)
(edit: I should say, this is a better option than using a shortcut as you don't have to worry as much about syntax.)

Erik - just fyi, I have deleted the post you just made in another thread, because that thread is about four months old, and I'd rather we didn't necro it. It's easier for us to help you in this thread, which is entirely dedicated to you! :)
Have you followed the suggestion I posted? If so, is it still giving the "name not valid" error?

No worries.
As a next step, can you please try uninstalling physx from your computer, then downloading and reinstalling Contrast? You'll need to fully remove physx before reinstalling. There's more info in the comments here, but I'd try this to start. If that doesn't work, we'll see what else we can do.
