EDIT: Deleting amdcpusetup.exe in "Steam\steamapps\common\Contrast\Binaries\Redist\AMD" folder helped.
amdcpusetup.exe got stuck. (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Contrast\Binaries\Redist\AMD\amdcpusetup.exe)
I made amdcpusetup.exe doesn't work. I renamed "AMD" folder.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Contrast\Binaries\Redist\AMD_\amdcpusetup.exe
"AMD to AMD_"
The game has started. I can play chapter 1 for now. Thanks to Rydellfd and Mordant I was able to get the hint.
Yeah, I should have read this before getting it! Mine is doing the same thing! It's not performiong first time set up!
I don't 'know how to rename AMD folder! I'm going to return this game! Too Bad! It looked fun....
:(
You pushed the Install button on steam.
Game was downloaded.
You pushed the Play button on steam.
A window pops up saying "Play Contrast".
You say "yes".
Hung up. (The amdcpusetup.exe is working.) So, You can't change the name of folder.
You need to stop the amdcpusetup.exe.
Restart PC or kill the amdcpusetup.exe on Windows Task Manager.
After that, you can change the name. (You shouldn't run the Contrast at this point.)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Contrast\Binaries\Redist
Open this address with Explorer.
You can find the "AMD" folder and can change its name or delete the "AMD" folder.
I'm sorry if I misunderstand what you said.
