That makes me even more excited. Can't go back to monthly dev blogs? :P

About the tower defence mini game:
Will there be a possibility to have special scenarios (with varying difficulties) in addition to this endless mode? As, for instance, in the stronghold games?
That would be a nice platform for persons who like to play with the editor.
Personally, the perspective of eventually getting beaten anyway doesn't motivate me too much...

whether the Russian version??

Just downloaded it and played twice through the tutorial but after finishing it the game didn't 'do' anything. So, apparently I still can't play the sandbox version/ campaign (?)

tutorial is the only thing available. did you read this thread?

Russian is supported in the Community Translation Tool ( but not yet available in the game ), but based on feedback we need to make some changes to that system. Right now our focus is on developing sandbox tech. Once that's in a decent state we'll look at improving the translation tool.

All looks good, the giant meat cleaver on the roof of the butcher seems a little out of place though, it looks more like an advertising thing than a practical theme that the rest of the game will have for buildings.

i second that it looks strange

maybe a smaller cleaver hanging above the door :D

the rest looks nice

It may look strange, though I think it's a bit silly in just such a way as to fit what seems to be the tone of the game so far.
Also it makes a butcher super easy to identify at a glance, which is always a good thing.
