Should I Buy/Will it Work?
Loving the idea of Folk Tale, and about ready to pull the trigger and make the purchase, just a few questions first.

1: Will it work on my setup? AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+ 2.6 Ghz | 2 GB Ram | SAPPHIRE 100218L Radeon HD 2600XT 512MB 128-Bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

(I know I am under the threshold for ram, slightly above the threshold for CPU and not sure where I rank in terms of graphics card. For reference, it can manage X-Com Enemy Within & Civ 5 just fine)

2: I read the game has 64-bit support now? I am assuming that means it will work for the XP Pro 64-variant as well?

3: I get the game is city building, and you have peasants and town watch, but will there be heroes? Adventurers? Ye Old Sword and Sorcery types that come in, fat with coin, wanting directions to the nearest dungeon to knock over? If there will be these heroes, will there be buildings/support structures for them? I liken it to Tropico, where you could set up for a tourist industry. Heroes seem a perfect type of "tourism" (Come see our Skeleton Overlord!) Actually reminds me of a D&D adventure I ran, where the team found out the local Skeleton Lord threatening town, was really held hostage by the town and forced by the town to do it as the Mayor and Shopowners were wanting to scam visiting heroes with insane markups on food and mystical trinkets....

4: Are there random events? You can build in a sandbox, but will events be thrown your way?

not sure on the technical

Heroes will be added and the loot system is already partially in, they'll be found in your tavern for hire from what simons described and i think there will be a few classes.
The dungeons it just depends on the maps(since you can make and share your own) once the portal system is added for getting between areas it will probably be done.

Random events...to a point i think its going to be some what scripted but with randomization on how and where events happen.

Just spotted this. Unfortunately your graphics card is considerably under the minimum spec with a benchmark rating of 306. The current minimum requirement is around 2000, however we expect to lower the minimum spec once we've performed an optimization pass near the end of development, but it'll still be above 1000.

2600XT:

Really you need to be in the top 2/3rds of this table:

With 2GB memory chances are the game will crash during gameplay (since the OS needs a good chunk).

You may be able to run the game, although I expect the frame rate will be quite low and it's likely to crash.
