For a free game, it did manage to entertain me for almost two hours, but after that time, I just got bored and kind of annoyed. Let me explain things properly: I usually start with the bad stuff first, and I have plenty here.
First of all, the voices. Some of the voices talk in an "American accent", others have a "British accent". Aren't they supposed to be in Poland, or something? Why not giving them all the same kind of voices? It's just awkward, and the game goes further to ♥♥♥♥ this up. One of the main characters is Karolina. Now, the thing is, why giving a character the name "Karolina", IF THE MAIN CHARACTER CAN'T SAY THE NAME PROPERLY!? Everytime he says "Karolina", I feel like having an anal evacuation. And yeah, I looked it up, that's actually a thing. Just as disgusting as hearing that guy.
The second thing, are the bugs. In just two hours I was able to see some stuff that made me feel annoyed. I can overlook the fact that, for example, I was able to get a sh#t-load of ammo from vending machines that are supposed to only give drinks, but when the game takes your weapons away for no reason at all, you feel cheated. What happend? I crossed a checkpoint, a cutscene appeared, and when it was over, my guns and fireaxe are gone! It also happens with the god-awful quick-time events (jesus balls down a helicopter, WHY THEY KEEP DOING QUICK-TIME EVENTS!? THEY'RE NOT GOOD OR DONE NICELY). Let me explain what happend to me: I found a Pickaxe. It looked cool as a melee weapon, and it looked like it did AMAZING DAMAGE (literally insta-killing people in the first hour of the game), and it attacked fairly fast. It felt amazing! But what happend? I have to interact with a stupid computer on a quick-time event, my character is forced to drop the Pickaxe, and when the quick-time is over, THE PICKAXE IS GONE. And it was just 10 seconds! Why!? Another example is, when I went to a bar to speak with that Karolina-girl, there was literally no sound on it. I could see arround 12 LIVING HUMANS, SPEAKING TO EACH OTHER, BUT NO SOUND. Well actually, there was sound, my footsteps, and some weird fountain. Oh, but when I finally speak to her, SOME of the sounds are back! Did anyone test this game!?
Another point, are the guns. It's probably because I didn't get far in the game, but they feel...Well, useless. Let me explain: Early on, you only find "zombified people" (I have to come up with a name, and that's what they look like, to me), and the game gives you a Dart gun. Neat, it only has 5 darts, and I ran out of darts with the first enemy, AND HE DIDN'T EVEN DROP TO THE GROUND!? So what I did? I started beating the living sh#t out of him with my bare hands. He dropped instantly, I went for his friend, same deal. I picked up a crowbar, people arround me died in about 2 hits IN THE HARDEST DIFFICULTY. Later on, I found a gun. And later on, some sort of rifle, or shotgun. And here's the question, they expect me to use a shotgun or a handgun, when you don't find ammo anywhere, and you kill them easily even with your hands?
I only played two hours of this game, and it was enough to keep me away from it for good. Did it have something good? Yeah, the graphics look amazing (even though your character doesn't always move his mouth when speaking), and the horror-feeling is well done, even though it fails to deliver in the long run (what is so scary about these zombified guys, when I kill them in two hits?). The story tries to take itself seriously, but has too many things that make 0 sense.
For me, it felt like a "Poor Man's" Silent Hill knock-off. Some people might be able to enjoy it, and I respect that. But for what I care and feel, it dissapointed me. At least I didn't pay anything, it was free.
