Recover Netmarble account
Hey Guys,

I didn't play UWO some time and now I saw that you need to transfer your account to OGPlanet but I don't know what my Netmarble account is anymore and there don't seem to be a way to recover it. Anyone knows how to recover it?

i would like some final word on this as well. if what is said in this thread http://steamcommunity.com/app/224320/discussions/0/666827316269467054/ is true however, it does not look very promising.

yes, its a scam, we steam users supposedly had our chance, but only if you were ingame, oyu got a notice of it.....

imho, this is negligence on their part, and i consider my money i spent ingame as lost, this was the first, and last time, ive ever installed a game from netmarble/ogplanet.......

for sure ....

this just feels as a scam, nothing more, nothing less...

i actually agree, especially since actual money is involved. and i can not see why a simple database migration should be carried out by the user; just copy the whole thing and be done with it.

...and to be even more annoyed; If I can't play it anymore, how do I uninstall it? Steam pretty much sux at providing tools to uninstall/remove discontinued games from the Library.
Now UW is gone and no solution to reconnect to my character. I never got a mail about this transfer, so are steam planning to do like this on all their games they stop?

i still had UWO in my steam library, i simply right-clicked it, went into properties and checked that it did indeed still take up space, so i clicked delete local content. the option to delete local content should be available from the right-click menu too.

yes it totally feels to me, that they are uniwlling , rather than thats its impossible, and yes, i dont call things a scam fast :), in the lack of a better word, but this just feels like they didnt care about the existing player base, but only about pulling new players in the game.

so, this is proof enough for me how these company's (ogplanet/netmarble) think about their customers..... like cattle they can just milk, how and when they want to. and i dont want to be a part of these practices.

Please tell me how to remove the garbage from the Library instead of providing info on something else.

That is exactly how you remove it.

If you can't find it in your library, look in your system's control pannel for Add/Remove Programs and remove it that way.

If you can't find it there then it is either not on your PC or is hidden and you should contact support.

This is not Steam's fault, the reason that we can't recover our accounts is because Netmarble has become a pure South Korean company. Any and all accounts not Korean have been purged from their system, rendering everything lost. I wish we could do something about it but it is sadley impossible D:
