GAME WONT LAUNCH
when i try to open the game it just starts flashing back and forth from a black and my desktop. the only way to end it is by ending the application through task manager.

I had to disable my second monitor and then the game started with no problems. Some old games do not like multi monitor setups :(

Try "Verify integrity of game cache", it should update a 592 byte file.

I have a similar problem and I dont have a second monitor.
I tried turning off desktop composition. I have also tried running as administrator and putting it in compatability mode, none have worked. I have tried to set my resolution to 800x600 but this doesnt work either.
My rig:
Windows7 x64
16GB RAM
8Core AMD A8 8350
2GB Radeon HD6670
(All drivers including BIOS are up to date)
I will endevour to find the answer, but if anyone hasn any other suggestions that would be very appreciated.

Ok so I got my issue sorted... I originally had the game installed on a 4TB external drive. I reinstalled the game to the C drive (Default) location and this solved the issue.

Many months overdue but I had this problem with SR2 and Defiance SR1 was also unstable and BO2 would randomly crash, My issues with all of these were solved simply by running as admin in Windows 95 compatability mode, Blood Omen 2 also needed to have the processor affinity set to run on only 1 core.

May be different for you but WIn 95 compatability mode was my saving grace for these being playable, and JoyToKey bindings ofc :P

I was changed game resolution in setup to my monitor resolution (1440x900) and its fixed problem.
