Do the Legacy of Kain games work well with a microsoft 360 controller?

I think Defiance works no problem, just gotta switch to the controller in the settings. I use PS2 controller for SR2 and SR1 requires xpadder, otherwise it won´t work (Raziel will run in infinite circles).
