Save Game Problems

I am having issues with my old game saves for Legacy of Kain: Defiance. Every time I try to load an old game save it says unable to load save game. The same thing happens if I download save games off the net and try to use them.

Has anyone else experienced this and is their a fix.

Nevermind, it looks like the game is based on the EU version 1.1 game and not the US version.

Unfortunately, I was not able to find a working saves for this game.
I still have my old pre-steam US version saves, but I could not find a way to import them into this version.
