Long, long ago, there was an ancient kingdom called Ys which prospered under the auspices of two heavenly Goddesses. Over time, the kingdom came to be known as Esteria, and its divine history was largely forgotten by all but the descendants of those who once preached the Goddesses’ will.

Can you encounter the basement demons again?
I cleared the basement of monsters but I didn't get enough of them to fill the bestiary pages. I need one more entry for Carly and K'nocks or whatever their names are. Will I be able to encoutner these enemies again somewhere else, or do I need to load an...
This was kinda funny, I found it completely on accident. Basically if you are standing in the entryway, you are completely invincible, and Tyalmath will just keep jumping right next to you and never hurt you. You can just toss fireballs til you win XD
Modding Ys 2 to replace the PC-88 music with the TurboGrafx-16 music (or any music you want)
Do you miss the TG-16 soundtrack when you play Ys? Or perhaps you've never experienced it before.
This guide will show you how to change the music from the PC-88 music to the TG-16 music.
I also cover how to change the other OST options as well.

Excelent guide written by Jeff David aka "Korzic" on http://www.gamefaqs.com/pc/979864-ys-i-and-ii-chronicles/faqs/67237
I'm not taking any credit for this guide! Just uploading it to ease using a complete walkthrough
This guide describes how to get all 157 mascots available in the game. Because of its content, it also doubles as a full list of NPCs for the Notorious A.C. achievement and a bestiary of the non-boss enemies for the Demon Duster achievement.
What does this do exactly, without spoilers? I just got my last achievement on Ys I and went to try Ys II, and saw this option in the config tool. I don't know if I wanna start the game since I wanna know what I should do for this option XD
Seriously, why is every dungeon in Ys II a friggin maze? Maybe it's because I hate excessive backtracking, but they seem to be the only difficult part about Ys II outside of Nightmare difficulty. Anyone else feel the same?
