Are you kidding me with that Dark Fact boss fight !!!

I'm on normal mode.
I looked at a video of this fight on nightmare mode and the boss speed is the same as me on normal.
Is this a bug?
I do have the silver gear and amulet equipped.
Not only are the projectiles super fast, but the floor gets smaller with each hit you deal to him. What the bloody hell.

Just plain rush him down and ignore the projectiles -- seriously.
Try to go in the same direction as him to get multiple hits in one go.

Nope, not a bug. That's just how the fight goes; your best bet is to just grind it out, and try not to get yourself boxed in.

Well I got him. I was 1-2 hit away from dying. Clever achievement title "de-fact-o", made me laugh.
So many tries where I was one hit from winning and I got stuck in a small portion of floor.

Tried leveling up to your max? Ys 1 (and 2) is a game that gets much easier if you level up just 1 level :P

I reached level 10 (the max) inside the mine :)
But yeah, leveling up 1-2 levels was my goto trick for Oath and Origins.
And then I tried the Time Attacks...

After over 200 attempts I finally beat that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. That fight was literally a nightmare.

I hit him and barely do any damage, but am getting raped by all those projectiles everywhere.
How do you even avoid them, they're so fast.
All the other bosses were pretty easy...

Honestly have no idea what it is, but whatever it is, it's instant game over even if you had full health. That was what kept causing me to lose, not getting caught up or running out of health.

Yeah, I realized that.
My brain was temporarily on holiday. Then I remembered what I'd actually been told by the game already.
I eventually beat him after the last post I made.
I'll be honest though, kind of a terrible boss 8D

I remember playing this game on the Master system a LONG time ago and having no trouble at all but now,even on normal,it's owning me. Too many projectiles or less frequently gettin instant death for falling into the hole to avoid being hit too much...
