Besides, why would you even want workshop over manually modding yourself?
It might take a bit more time and effort, but the payoff is surely more satisfying.
You have a lot more freedom with Nexus.
i'm old,i have no interest in computer software or hardware and was never taught to so much as to type let alone drive a confluter
but i do luv games,so i learnt some new tricks
i suggest you do the same

Before you even think about trying to mention the Skyrim workshop: try to find the top 250 Nexus mods on the Steam workshop.
Your mother did little boy
Edit: FYI; I have about 150 active Skyrim Workshop mods. The only reason My game still runs With those mods is because I only launch with SKSE and Never the Steam Launcher. Workshop mod authors update their mods, many of which conflict with other mods. Steam auto updates Workshop mods and those conflicts crash players games. Very early on, I grew weary of spending countless hours dealing with mod conflicts. Have not let a Workshop mod update since May 2012 and never will again!

I mean, ya, you could have been worse, but seriously, give the guy some slack. Who cares if he made a comment about the fallout fans? OH MY! And seriously, just explain the modding scene to him a little more gently and maybe he won't call you a little boy. :P
Eesh, it's also definitely possible that maybe he just wants a simple, and not too in depth modding experience.
I for one, on the other hand, don't give one about a workshop or Nexus or anything. I'm a purist and shall remain so. lol
on a side note:
Ladez, you were the one who made an unnecessary comment against his use of "we the Fallout fans" so don't bite his head off and call him immature when you initiated the stupidity.
To sum it up, I don't mean to rage at y'all, I mean heaven knows there are MANY MANY people on forums who are much worse, but we can all be a little more understanding eh? :)

Mentioning someone's mother as a response is a cheap insult, and it is immature regardless of what sparked the insult. Any rational individual should be able to understand this.
No I get that, he wasn't correct in saying that the fans wanted it. I'm just saying that a quick explanation regarding nexus etc. would have served the purpose much better than even noticing it.
In regards to the comment about the mother, ya it was immature! I agree :P
If he had actually shown an interest in modding without the Workshop, instead of arrogantly writing it off and making demands on the behalf of everyone, then maybe--no, almost certainly--he would have gotten some useful answers.
Well then there ya go, you're denying him his basis of the post. His basis was that he already knew about the nexus and didn't want to use it. I don't think there was really anything arrogant about his statement either; he just didn't want to use it. Regarding the "demands on the behalf of everyone" I think it was more just rhetoric than anything.
So maybe the bottomline is, someone might want the workshop for this game because they don't want to use Nexus. :| I just feel like his OP hasn't been treated very well.
