I'm playing in hardcore, lvl 23 in HARD, and i hear that this dlc was easy, so why the hell a giant gecko kills me with 2 attacks? Is supose to be so strong? or there is something wrong?

Because the enemies scale, and a high level character will encounter 'giant' versions of the regular wildlife.

Thank you, i was getting worried that was a bug or something, now i'm just worried of giant gecks lol

ahh my first encounter with a giant gekco was amazing.

i had just finished getting the lunch boxes when from the other side of the building one of them ran at me, i didnt know what to do and got killed about 5 times before my line of mines and heavy explosives got him.

i really suck at this game

IKR, one killed me like 4 times, i tough i was strong, with implant of dt, toughness 2, nice armor, and boom, death.

Its all about having the right weapons/armor and build. i'm using the energy weapons critical build, but i went to zion with low ammo, cause of the carry limit, so it was hard to use almost only guns.

My first gecko love/hate relationship was in Fallout 2. The Golden geckos pissed me off so damn much in that game. They were like the Deathclaws in the Sloan Quarry; being right outside the starting area and nigh impossible to kill using a pointy stick while wearing a loincloth.

Like all critters in Fallout New Vegas, you shoot them in the legs/wings and then run away to safety. Cripple. Cripple everything.

Cazadors are easy peasy once you put holes in their wings. Deathclaws are as slow as molasses when you ruin one of their legs. It is all about giving yourself more time to put damage into the enemy before they scratch your face off.

What armor are you using?

I'm using desert ranger combat armor it has 21 DT, but i will trade for one with critical later on. Is one ranger armor with criticals from the dlc with deathclaws.
My best weapons is ycs/186, wich is awesome, laser rcw for second choice, and i will get a pistol for robots that i heard on a tread.

Are you gonna trade for Riot gear? The best version ( elite riot gear ) can only be found in one place

It's in the third street municipal building, you have to go through some tunnels first to get up there

It may be hard to get there depending on your level

I'm level 28** now, i'm thinking wich dlc start now, i want to leave the best ones for the end
