ok so house just told me to kill the mojave chapter of the BoS and they've been good to me so i dont really want to but i dont want to kill mr.house so how can i come to a stand still.

You don't have to kill House you can disable him and spare his life.

If you are going to continue working for Mr. House, you have to destroy the Brotherhood. Or you can put Yes Man in charge and spare the BoS, but you'll have to deactivate/kill Mr. House to do this.

either way disabling mr house would kill him anyway. prolonged but active stasus like that weakened his imune system. he'd die within a year.

Leaving him alive is the worse option. Just kill him so he doesn't have to suffer.

I'd personally destroy the Brotherhood over House. It's your game though. I don't know what kind of Courier you're playing.

I've went with both options on different Couriers.

killing the brotherhood nets you bad karma.

killing house does not net you bad karma.

The Brotherhood would never accept outsiders like Houses' Vegas using technology like Securitrons, and they'd most likely view House as some sort of abomination of technology, that they would never accept. More likely they would declare war on the new-formed city-state, probably rob caravans on the roads, turn into a technophile raider gang. House doesn't like potential loose ends like that, it's just a part of his character to take every possible outcome into account and tie up loose ends.
