DCS is like math. I love it. It makes you cry. It wants to hurt you. You will despair of it. But every bit of success deeply satisfies you.
First, you look into manuals, text books, listen to the instructor and think..yeah..I got this..can I start now?
Then you crash. Multiple times. But DCS wouldn't be like math if there wouldn't be a good end.
Eventually, you will succeed with something, perfectly hover with a helicopter, successfully land on an aircraft carrier. These are the moments that make up for all the crashes.
Like the feeling when you solved your first second-order differential equation..remember?
If you want to click "Fly", take off and be Lt. Maverick right after installing, skip this one. If you want to get as close to real flying as you can get on your home pc, why are you still reading this.
Great plus: the support is friendly, replies fast, and doesn't show you that you just won the award for the most stupid user of the month. Especially when you asked them for help after forgetting that you set up an account already and all your DLC are bound to a dude that stole your nickname. I am still ashamed.
9.9/10 (9.9 because coop is not implemented yet, my gf cant sleep on the copilot seat in the Huey; will set 10 as soon as she can)
