I have no clue about coding (yet), so I really can't say.
u sound like u are full of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
why u dont code if u are such a genius? wonder why u hang in steam discussion when u are such a genius. will ask for an nobelpreis for u

You can barely even speak English! I acually have two programmers working for me currently, one of which has a Bachelor of Science in computer programming. Coding for the Occulus Rift is very easy as their SDK is damn-near drag and drop.
I have a TIR5 and I love it, but once the rift has 6DOF and 3D HD HMD, the TIR is dead. The TIR was a great way to manage it before, but the freedom to look away from the monitor, and not be constrained to a camera's FOV are too much of an improvement. I'll reserve judgement until the consumer model hits, but if it does all those things...
Right now I think the rift only has 3DOF, but to be honest, that is what I use most in games now anyway. Leaning in Arma, or poking about the cockpit in DCS is about the extent of my translations.
Long live the TLA. It has been used a lot here today.
PS : Dslyecxi :) It's spelt somewhat oddly, as a joke, I presume.
1. I have my keyboard set up as the UFC. Entering coordinates, new waypoints, editing weapon profiles on the DSMS page - I can do that very fast and efficient via my keyboard.
Now imagine doing that with the occulus rift on. I have my hands on my warthog HOTAS (stick between my legs, Throttle to the left of my chair) now if I want to enter something in the CDU with the rift on it's a huge PITA even if I had mouse and keyboard on the right. Not worth it tbh.
2. I use my second monitor during flights for things like missionbriefings, pictures of the target area, 9-line cards, Teamspeak with TARS or Aries plugin, chat etc. all not possible with the Rift and I know people who use a touchscreen as a secondary monitor to display the MFCDs in the A-10C.
All that wouldn't work with the rift so I'm staying with Track IR.
Could be a handful of years but yes thinking about it, this could be amazing.
