As Russia withdrew from South Ossetia due to political pressure Georgian and American forces launched a successful invasion of Abkhazia and are now looking to punch through the defenses on the north Georgian border and over run the town of Cherkessk. Operation Perched Eagle 1630 contains UNLIMITED tasks in a PVP or pure COOP battlescape. Use the radio (F10 sub menu) to view tasks for your coalition and complete them to earn rewards!

sorry, still no troop transport implemented but will be included with the next update!

Fun and unforgiving. Well thought out mission and lots of replayability thanks to random tasks. The current version seems to work with 1.2.7 too.

- Dynamic bullseye calls VIA MIST 3.3 for blue tasks (red soon to follow)
- Moved some blue tasks to better areas that werent "off map"
- Finally moved some of the tasker system to external script (this also happens to solve the only known radio bug that was left to squash)
- AI CAP flights are rewards for completing the secondary tasks
- Primary task starts a half hour in giving player time to complete one of them for an edge in the battle.
- Jukebox that lets player play some music while flying for fun (although stop BGM is not working)

1.05 is ready link updated.

1.06B is finished, the rate at which I'm updating is gonna slow as I really begin working on scripts and much larger tasks for the mission, although I still wouldn't be surprised if I break my word and have 1.07 ready in a few days, in anycase I shouldn't have to update it for a bit as long as everything is working as intended.

- Bullseye calls implemented for both sides now and I moved red bullseye to a better position.
- Garbage collection triggerwork to remove old AI CAP flights so performance after a few hours. should be vastly improved, as well as clearing up units after a primary task has been won/lost.
- Randomized some SAMS.
- Set external views to player preference.
- Adjusted inital AI CAP to only be F-16's and SU-27's with the rewards unlocking the other AI flights.
- Modified some waypointing and removed artillery for better performance

1.07 released, fixes a few issues and overhauls messaging system

- MGRS is now displayed for tasks
- Moved everything to MIST message system, most of the task system is now external scripts
- New briefing photo to better show what the mission is now like
- Weaker inital AI CAP flights at the start of the mission (F-4, F-5's and MiG-23's)
- Due to popular request there are now 2 hours before the primary tasks begin so that you can do secondary tasks.

1.07B bugfix version is in the works...

- 20 new highly randomized tasks to red side (brings total to 60) these new tasks are even better then the previous ones that I added and will help bring some more threat variety to the tasks.
- bugfixes to 10 tasks that were bugged in 1.07

1.08 is now uploaded, and until I make everything else script only -- this represents the final version for awhile... sorry for the many updates over the week but it just goes to show how version 1.00 really wasn't ready yet for public consumption... this however does represent the finest version of my mission file yet.

- 10 new tasks for blue (63 total)
- 20 new tasks red (61 total)
- Bugfixes (Some tasks are longer broken)
- Modified garbage collection timer (so planes don't dissapear midfight)
- More stuff being coverted to script instead of in editor (about halfway done)

Version 2.03 uploaded, should have no issues pertaining to the task system now (I HOPE)... primary tasks still an unknown since i haven't completed one yet! :)

still many issues persist, gonna try to resolve the problems with the tasks today.. hopefully

someone reported red sams on hold fire, didn't realize this and its from trigger work of a previous version where they would only fire once enemy got closer, will have to change em back.

finally mission is working as intended, 2.05B released.... really sorry for anyone who tried this mission before, please try the latest if you enjoyed the previous versions, finally nail in the coffin!

2.06 released, sqaushed everything now... everything works, enjoy the bugfree edition... was running this file all day ---- nobody joined to fly though :*(
