Hello

I didn't find any answer in the FAQ, so to sum up my problem:
I can't play with my joystick. When I launch a mission, a campaign, a training, or even a free flight, it does not work. The game shows the debrieffing, as if my flight was over.
But is works perfectly when my joystick is not connected to my computer, but flying with arrows is not that great ^^

Do someone have an idea abou how to fix it ?

Which make/model of stick is it? Plus OS info (i.e. Win7 x64 etc?).

My stick is a Saitek Cyborg Evo Force, and my OS is Windows 8

Does it help to disable force feedback in the options? Plus a similar issue here that was resolved by reseting:

I will test for you since I am having the EXACT same issue with the EXACT same stick/OS

at the end of that link it walks through a registry deletion... THAT WORKS! leave FFB enabled and just delete that registry and the game launches fine ::VERFIED::

I don't understand what "redegit" means/is (I am not English), and which account I have to log to (Steam, or ED account, or an ingame account ?) I tried to create an ED account but I can't because the website think I am a spammer.C

Hi MisterVince,

'regedit' is a program that comes with Windows to change your windows configuration. Here's a guide on how to use it:

So from the guide, step 4 would be 'navigating' (sort of like folders) and then deleting those keys starting with VID_06A3. Make sure you follow the step 1 of backing things up first, just in-case.

HIBOUX you are very strong I do not know where you got the info but it's exactly the insoluble problem I had for the joysticks in STEAM / DCS WORLD
The STEAM platform is unable to help you and leaves you in the ♥♥♥♥
(not counting the games we bought and disappear without compensation )
Fortunately there are people like you to raise the global level on this platform

HIBOUX vous êtes très fort je ne sais pas ou vous avez eu l'info mais c'est exactement le probleme insoluble que j'avais pour les joysticks dans STEAM/DCS WORLD
La plateforme STEAM est incapable de vous aider et vous laisse dans le merde
(sans compter les jeux qui disparaissent sans compensation)
Heureusement qu'il y a des gens comme vous pour monter le niveau global sur cette plateforme
