I wish I could go back in time...
...and buy this game at full price instead of 75% off, because I feel terrible that the devs didn't get the money they deserved from me. This is just such a fantastic game. More than worth the asking price.

You can still buy the game a second time and gift it to someone. ^^ I was thinking for a while now if I should buy it the next time when there is a sale for it and make an entry at Steamgifts. Just to raise a bit of interest for the game.

That's what I do with games I really like, by a couple more next time they are on sale to gift around. I have an OST version sitting in my gift inventory right now lol. This is one of those games like Shatter, Starbound, and They Bleed Pixels where you NEED to soundtrack, too, because it's so good.

I wouldn't mind getting a copy of this game.

I played the demo and it plays fantastic. It's like Kirby, Yoshi's Island, etc. all in one.

I just beat the game (hilarious and appropriate ending btw) and I feel the same way, definitely worth the $2.50 I spent. I will buy the soundtrack when it's on sale again to further support these guys. This is an extremely solid, challenging, beautiful platforming game.

If you've read that it's really hard and you're not that good at platformers, buy it anyway. It has a system where if you die a bunch in a row you can skip little parts of the level to get to the next part. It lets you keep trying too (of course) but you have to click a "pretty please let me keep trying" button :D

I never used the skip option (I did have to beg pretty please a few times though), so I'm not sure how far ahead it jumps you in the level, but that's a nice touch for people who are just enjoying the art/easier platforming.

Couldn't agree more to some degree. This is a great game and the devs really shine with this one. What's sad though is the fact that it feels so late in the games department you know? I mean for the last decade and a half when hardware was not optimized essentially for full HD 3d graphical presentation we should of had games like this one to entertain us. 2d games that shine like this one, but being 2010 and beyond we should be drowned primarily in exquisite 3d worlds. I still give great credit to the devs for this astonishing piece of art that we can immerse ourselves in and hope for a couple sequels that might give more texture depth the next time around. I just wished it had been available from 2000-2006 ya know.

"Still; great game devs..... great game!"

Personally I don't like 2.5D graphics, in general they don't tend to be as effective as a crisp 2D aesthetic like this game has. Judging a 2D platformer by its graphics alone though is a pretty poor way of going about things I'd say.

2D, 2.5D, 3D or whatever... It's a matter of taste. I'm pretty okay with all of them. And what we have got here is quite good for kind of an indie game, that amount of detail around... I'm just happy this game is not pixelated, there's far too much of such a thing now xD

And yes, everything in FLY'N is awesome and everyone should buy the OST and the ending couldn't be better and I'm gonna say all of that forever. Such a shame almost nobody knows about it!

I can't remember if I paid full price or not. But if I didn't, I would definately buy full and gift it to someone. It's just such a good game and I haven't found anything that has captured me as well as Fly'n that I haven't played to death already!

Soundtrack is amazing, although it wasn't on steam when I bought it. Never again am I buying from the original site, that was painful! XD

Well, you can give it to me :D

I've had it in my wish list since a while ago and I didn't see it getting a discount. I would have bought it right away if I had.

I'm also a fan of Ankama an their work with MMO games, their animated series and comic books. Their games are different in many ways and, obviously, original to the point you want more people to recognise them.

I have decided to make my threat reality and started a giftaway of one copy of Fly'N. So if you don't have the game go this link: http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/H59lz/flyn
and try your luck. It will last until sunday afternoon (12th january 2014).

PS: Is this form of (self-)advertisement allowed in the forum? Should I make an extra thread?
