Class Levelling takes quite a bit

I'm not too fond of class levelling. I'm ok with the rate of regular leveling, but honestly I can't even fathom leveling anything but defender due to how exp works. I'd suggest maybe giving more exp to Guerilla and Captain as it's really hard to gain levels in those areas.

To get captain you just have a crew that does a lot, you get Captain XP for nearly everything your crew does, even blocking! Guerilla XP is easy to get but a grind; the only way to get large quantities is to Solo on a Cog (small ship).
