Single player....
How about a version for single player with a campaign, mission editor etc etc... Many of us are not multiplayer fans.... even more out here do not have broadband connections that would allow us to play if we wanted to...

I just don't to mess with people with bad connections, other people telling me how terrible I am at whatever I'm doing.

Unfortunatly, this kind of game as with Guns of Icarus Online, requires multiple people to do different jobs. Of course, one person COULD do all the jobs, but it's much much easier with a team.
You could just check out "Guns of Icarus." The single-player version of "Guns of Icarus Online."

I would figure if they made a single player version, the other positions could be filled in with NPC's characters... heck they could turn it into a RPG style where you have to build your team, level them up and update thier capabilities etc etc.. The more experience, the better they shoot or move or whatever... Point is, I am not into online multiplayer that much because too many times has an experience been ruined by kiddies or by the lack of any decent players to play with...

I feel you. I don't grab games that have a major MP focus. I just kick back and play SP. I got sucked into buying Natural Selection 2 and that game is always filled with griefers because it's focused on working with others to win, but I play it from time to time for mods.

I came here wondering the same thing, but it's an indie game right? I doubt they have the manpower to add single player options. I do like your RPG idea. Would be fun. AI is better than human if you ask me ;)

I miss old "project nomads" single-style games.

First screens of this reminded me that.

I bought this game because it's such a great, team focused multiplayer game. That said, I think some bots for single player practice would be great. especially for people to learn how to fly the ships, that way they could get rid of the wretched "whoever has more XP than you can steal your ship without any sort of consensus" mechanic that's angered me enough to uninstall it until the situation is resolved.

I like the concept of the game, but with there was a 2-4 player co-op mode, or just the ability to throw in bots. I don't want to deal with other players while cooperating with my friends.

Agreeing. I think this game looks really cool, but most likely the online community's gonna die off soon because it's the very rare game that keeps active players. That's just how it goes. And then my money would be wasted. I've already been burned a few times with currently-unplayable multi-only games and don't want to make that mistake again. Devs, please include single-player!
