Guns of Icarus vs. Airbuccaneers?
Although they have very different ways of dealing things which one is more better?

See all the old threads on the matter. It hasn't changed much since those. ABu has superior core gameplay, GoIO has much better polish, is actually finished, not abandoned and has players. For me, one of the things is repairing. In ABu you (should) repair when there isn't anything better to do. In GoIO you repair when there would be more interesting things to do, but you are stuck running around the ship hitting things with spanners to get the subsystems working again. That chinese plate game gets old.

Airbucs mechanics wise ia much better game, but in regards to graphics and polish Guns is better. Developers wise both games are bad, Airbucs decs vanished and the devs of Guns of Icarus celebrate every time they get a player to quit their game.

Airbucs was also designed to be a team combat game, where Guns of Icarus was designed as a game of ship layout comparisons, sniper ships, and boredom. Players in Guns of Icarus are notoriously ill mannered as well...

Really, All I can say about the matter is that Airbucs is the better game.

Keep in mind, my opinion is coming from someone who has not played Air Buccs since beta, before the game was up for purchase, before it was F2P...

But I will say I prefer gunsof Icarus, althought Air Bucs offersa game which feels more action packed, it does not give as strong team play feel as Guns gives, Guns of Icarus requires the crew to work together to keep the ship running like a well oiled machine.

As a community ambassador for Guns of Icarus, all I can assume is that you have some personal grudge against the Dev team. I know all the Dev team, speak to them all and see them interact with their community on a much more personal level than what any other Dev Team has shown their player base.
Muse run an event twice a week "The Dev Match" where players can play against the Devs and if the players win, they can claim a free store item! During these matches the Devs chat to the players...
Dev Fireside chat where the devs explain what they've been upto hype upcoming updates and answer player questions, have a question or problem with the game? Matt (one of the devs) reads and replies to every email sent to the feedback department....

So I fail to see where you issues with the Dev team come from Necroscourge.

I like the sort of spontaneous teamplay that happens in ABu better. In GoiO I feel like I'm being bossed around when I'm in an efficient team. In ABu it tends to be more like "those guys are firing cannons, I think I should support them". Just a personal preference, really.

ABu is definately more relaxed about the team work than Guns, and efficiant teams can seem bossy at times! XD
I'm likely the least bossy pilot you'll find who flies in tournaments on guns XD

Indeed. It's not like GoIO can't be relaxed or there can't be bossiness in ABu. Usually it's some newbie captain spamming "Feeeeks the shiiiip" even though there's clearly an enemy to be shot at, cannons to be supported and :cannonball: to be blocked. It's just that Guns teamwork tends to require more coordination, which may feel like constantly being told what to do in more extreme cases. You can usually see the whole crew in Buccs so non-verbal communication can be relied on more.

Funny that two games with such similar concepts (Team work in air ships) can be so incredibly differeny :)
