Low FPS
Well, not very low to the point where it's unplayable, but i'am wondering why their fluctuating between 17 - 18 to 24 and not any higher then 24, ever.

Here's my setup.

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate.
Memory: 8GBs RAM.
Processor: AMD FX 6100+ 6-Core.
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GTX 650 w/1GB VRAM.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

FPS on mine seems even lower than that.

Windows 7
Memory: 8GBs RAM.
Processor: Intel Core i7
Graphics Card: NVIDIA Geforce with CUDA

Feel really let down by this.

I get 80-120fps(120hz monitor) with
I5 2500k oc 4.8ghz watercooled
GTX 590 oc watercooled
8gigs of rigjaw 1633mhz RAM
Full settings

This game is a resource hog

I'd like to know what the specs are on the computer they use to make the trailer for this. I remember Win98 games that ran smoother than this.

Forgot to mention, this is with AA turned to low/off, Vsync off and visibility set to 100% :)

My spec: Win 7 Home on Intel G620 dual 2.6GHz, 6Gb DDR with GeForce 9500GT.

While not a modern gamer-spec machine, it's fine for older games (200+ fps in Team Fortress 2 for example) but in Miasmata I am struggling to pull 20fps (average 15fps in FRAPs) with all details turned off/down and half my desktop resolution of 1920.

This is really disappointing as I love the look and feel of the game, so having to degrade it to make it half-way playable is very frustrating.

Looks like you need serious power to make this (enjoyably) playable.

Can anyone tell me whether I should buy this or not? I would want it to have atleast over 30 fps constant on about normal to high settings if I would buy it.
My specs:
AMD Phenom II x4 3,0ghz
ATI Radeon 4890 1gb
4gb RAM
Win7 Home 64bit

Ok so basically this game was designed for a specific kind of computer architecture and the developers don't know how to make it look as slick for everyone else who doesn't have those particular specs. Lost interest in playing this now that it appears to look about as good as a Win98 game, I thought I was buying an exploration game with nice graphics. Hope there is a solution coming my/our way before I hear back from Steam about my request for a refund.

Voxels are really cpu-intensive. The minimum spec on the Store pages seems a bit low to me to achieve 'baseline gamer performance' of 30fps.

I'd recommend quad-core at ~3Ghz, and a decent modern video card if you want extra effects but as shown in this thread, you can play with lower spec, it just won't perform as well as you might like.

Steam allows refunds? This is the first I've heard of this. Do you have a link to their terms of service that says anything about this matter?

I can run it at 60+ fps at 1920x1080 at max settings 130% FOV and injecting ultra level smaa through sweetfx but I have a i7 920 overclocked to 4GHZ and a 7950 overclocked to 1120mhz core and 12GB 1600mhz ram not the highest end pc but defiantly up there. For the level of graphics its more demanding then it should be imo. I'd like to be able to use Adaptive MSAA but drops my fps below 60 when I enable it so I just take the quality hit and stick with SMAA for a smoother experience.
